The Rise of the Connected Marketer

In this short Primer we set out the thinking behind this new approach to marketing. In the paper we explain how The Connected Marketer is an approach that merges and synchronises physical, digital and sensorial experiences to create stronger emotion connections between brands and consumers.

The paper explains the three critical elements of The Connected Marketer;

  • Firstly, the desire to connect all of these experiences together to solve customer problems.
  • Secondly, the recognition of connected individuals rather than connected consumers; as individuals we exist in a state of constant connectedness, an awareness that at any moment we can tap and find, know, do or buy, and it alters our behaviour.
  • Thirdly that there is a need to master the seven layers of connectivity in order to succeed.
